Clean Bathrooms Helpful Staff Small Rooms Quiet Nights Mostly Limited Kitchen Good Walking Access

“Pros: The location is good, it’s very near the center and in less than 20 min you are wherever you need to be by foot. The bathroom was clean and there were always free toilets/showers. The people working there are very friendly and helpful. Cons: there is no stove or oven in the kitchen, it’s just a small fridge and one microwave. My room was for two people but there was only one hanger (always had to put my towel on the door handle). It is worth it for the price you pay.”

“Good overall experience. The rooms are small but exactly as shown in the pictures — nothing misleading. The common areas were very clean, especially the bathrooms and toilets, which were spotless every time my wife or I used them. You can hear people moving around, as expected, but it wasn’t frequent or loud enough to disturb our sleep. The staff were very quick, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The location is convenient — about a 15-minute easy walk to the main square, around 10 minutes to La Tranca (an amazing hidden gem), and there are several 24-hour stores nearby. Better air conditioning would have made this a 5-star stay”

“I spent four nights here during a short trip to Málaga. Here's a list of the pros and cons. Pros: It's very economical. The communal areas are kept clean to a very high standard. The showers and toilets are very good, and again kept clean - the cleaning staff do a terrific job. Towels are provided, along with a pair of slippers which is very handy and a nice touch. The beds are surprisingly comfortable. It's close to the city centre and lots of shops and eating places are nearby. Reception staff were very good, made check-in easy and straightforward. The communal kitchen has a fridge and microwave so you can prepare your own food easily enough. The cons; The rooms are very small - if your not comfortable in a confined space this is not the place for you. Now this is a big one. The air conditioning in the tiny room was hopeless. I asked reception about it , the man at the front desk 'reset' it but said it would probably just go back to how it was, nothing else could be done. This meant that the room became stifling and felt airless, as a consequence it became very, very uncomfortable. You'll need earplugs. You have other people to literally on top or below or to the side of you, and you can hear every move they make, every cough, absolutely everything. Some of the other guests - most of the people were fine, but one or two inconsiderate people were shouting and talking very loudly well into the night, which was annoying. So in conclusion, if you're looking for somewhere that offers cheap accommodation, kept to a good standard and your not carrying much baggage this might work for you. It mostly did the job for me. But the problems with the air-conditioning causing the room to be hot and airless made my nights a uncomfortable chore to get through. I can't fault the staff, they clearly all work very hard to keep the place in good order. Would I stay there again? No, I'd pay a bit more for a hotel room and have the extra space and comfort.”
